In a nutshell, most charities are eligible for up to $10,000 per month of Google sponsored advertising.
It broke our hearts to realise how many of these (often small) charities were missing out on this superb gift from Google, so we decided to spread the word with a competition.
What is it called?
"The Great Big
Give Away!"
What do you win?
Rise (that's us) will set up your Grant funded Google AdWords campaign and manage it for a whole year.
What does that mean?
Our Google Accredited AdWords specialists will manage your PPC campaign the same way we would a commercial organisations. Typically this includes:
- Campaign Set Up & Structuring
- Keyword Research
- Bid Monitoring & Optimisation
- Quality Score Monitoring
- Ad Creation & Ad Copy A/B Testing
- Conversion Tracking & Implementation
- Google Analytics's Integration & Actual Search Phrase Reporting
- Monthly Reports & Quarterly Project Meeting (at our offices)
- Access to Google AdWords Specialist
All this will result in increased traffic coming to your site which should in turn result in more donations!
What is it all worth?
Based on our commercial rate of a fee of 10% on a $10,000 campaign spend the prize is worth a massive £8,000 (at today's exchange rate). Not to mention the additional donations you may get from the campaign.
How do you enter?
Go to the bottom of the page and if you have a Facebook account click Connect with Facebook and login as you would to Facebook normally.
Once logged in fill in the comments box with the following phrase:
<your charity website> has just entered the Rise Digital - Free Google Advertising competition
(make sure you replace <your charity website> with the relevant web address i.e. www.risedigital.com)
Please keep the "Post comment to my Facebook profile" ticked so it spreads the word.
Make sure you get all your colleagues, friends and family to enter as well by following the same process as the more individuals that post on your behalf the more chance you have of winning!
If you do not have a Facebook account and would still like to enter please email competitions@risedigital.com.
What next?
That's it, you are now entered into the competition and we will be choosing a winner on June 4th (leaving plenty of time to get your Google Grant!).
In the mean time if you need further information about the Google Grant or any help with your Application, just let us know by emailing info@risedigital.com or posting another comment.
We will select a winner at random from all the entries so the more times your Charity name appears the more chance you have of winning.
The (not so) small print
- Entry is open to anyone but only UK registered Charities are eligible to win.
- Rise are not responsible for the success or failure of any Google Grant Application (although we are happy to help this process where possible).
- Rise reserve the right to re-allocate the prize if your Google Grant application is unsuccessful.
- Rise reserve the right to cancel the competition if there are less than 50 entries.
- Only one entry per person is allowed however each Charity may enter as many times as they like.
- The value of the prize is capped at 1.5 working days a month (value £750pcm).
- The prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other services or products.
- Rise reserve the right to change the terms of this competition at any time.
- The decision of Rise is final and shall not be disputed.
- Closing date for entries is July 1st 2010.
Apparently some people are having trouble viewing the Facebook Comments box below, we are looking into this sio either check back later or email us at competitions@risedigital.com and we will look to enter you manually.
N.B We have update the post slightly to make it clearer that a Charity is more likely to win the more comments individuals post on their behalf. The winner will still be drawn at random but the more "mentions" a charity has the better the odds are of them winning. So spread the word to your members to get posting!
